Fleet Coordinator Internship

About the role

Reeds Africa Consult is looking for a Fleet Coordinator Intern to support day‑to‑day coordination and administration of its fleet and logistics operations in Nairobi. The role offers practical exposure to vehicle allocation, driver coordination, and logistics support while developing record‑keeping and reporting skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily allocation and scheduling of company vehicles and driver assignments.
• Monitor vehicle movements, mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and repairs, and maintain an updated fleet register.
• Support logistics operations by planning deliveries, collections, dispatches and tracking their status.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, expenses and prepare routine fleet reports.
• Ensure proper documentation for vehicles, drivers and logistics activities, both physical and electronic.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Recent graduate or student seeking practical internship experience.
• Basic knowledge of fleet, transport or logistics operations is an advantage.
• Good numerical, data‑entry and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
