Showroom Sales Executive

About the role

Our client, a leading supplier of premium plumbing systems, sanitaryware, architectural hardware and building solutions, is looking for a dynamic Showroom Sales Executive to join the team in Nairobi. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, product demonstrations and driving sales in a modern showroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, provide product demonstrations and recommend suitable plumbing, sanitaryware and architectural hardware solutions.
• Prepare quotations, process sales orders and follow up on inquiries.
• Build and maintain relationships with walk‑in customers, contractors, architects and interior designers.
• Achieve individual sales targets while ensuring high service standards.
• Maintain a well‑merchandised, organized and visually appealing showroom.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate customer records and produce daily and weekly sales reports.
• Stay updated on product features, pricing and market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Interior Design, Construction or related field.
• 2–3 years of showroom or retail sales experience in building materials, sanitaryware, tiles, plumbing, hardware or home improvement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and target‑driven mindset.
• Self‑motivated, well‑presented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP or POS systems (preferred).
