Solar Product Sales Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Solar Product Sales Engineer to join our Nairobi team. In this role you will drive the sales of solar inverters, batteries and related solutions, supporting the rapid growth of Kenya’s solar market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
• Promote and sell solar inverters, batteries and related products.
• Understand customers’ technical requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on orders.
• Visit customers and support sales activities in Nairobi and surrounding areas as needed.
• Collaborate closely with technical and sales teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in solar energy, inverter, battery, electrical or related industries (preferred).
• Good technical knowledge of solar systems and electrical products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship skills.
• Proficient English communication.
• Self‑motivated, responsible and target‑oriented.
• Kenyan nationality and currently based in Nairobi (preferred).

• Salary range KSh 16,000 – KSh 30,000 per month, negotiable with commission.
