Sonographer

About the role

The Sonographer will deliver high‑quality radiological services using ultrasound technology to generate accurate diagnostic information. Working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will support patient care through precise imaging and interpretation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and obtain clear images.
• Interpret and document imaging results to assist clinicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience.
• Registered with a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
• Member of the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).
• Strong report‑writing ability and proficiency with Health Management Information Systems.
