About the role

Cozen O'Connor is seeking a motivated associate to join its nationally recognized State Attorneys General Practice. The role is ideal for an attorney with 2‑4 years of litigation experience who wants to develop expertise at the intersection of law, public policy, and government enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents for high‑stakes investigations and litigation.
• Conduct substantive legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Respond to complex discovery requests and manage e‑discovery processes.
• Assist senior attorneys in multistate and federal co‑enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with clients to provide strategic counsel on Attorney General‑related matters.

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication abilities.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow within the State AG arena.

Required skills

• Experience with e‑discovery tools and processes.
