Supply Chain Data and Planning Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Data and Planning Analyst to join our team in Nairobi. The role focuses on collecting, validating and analysing supply chain data to support inventory, sourcing and demand planning, and to produce actionable insights for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from warehouses, sourcing, production, commercial and other stakeholders into standardized databases.
• Validate and maintain accurate inventory, sourcing and planning records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain reports and dashboards using advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Monitor KPIs related to inventory, logistics and operational performance.
• Support demand, inventory and sourcing planning through data analysis and stock projections, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records, investigate discrepancies and assist with month‑end closing.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Commercial and Product teams to ensure timely data submission and reporting.
• Assist team members in creating automated reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, planning or operations, with at least 1 year in data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, high attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP platforms and knowledge of supply chain processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, scenario analysis).
• Power BI (basic to intermediate).
• Data visualization and reporting best practices.
• Experience with inventory/ERP data handling.
