Telesales Return Team Agent

About the role

The Return Team Agent will work in a fast‑paced telesales environment, focusing on outbound calls to re‑engage customers and drive loan conversions. You will manage a high‑volume pipeline, ensure accurate data entry, and meet daily and weekly conversion targets.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to customers in the return team queue and follow up on loan applications.
• Maintain and update trackers in Microsoft Excel independently.
• Use the company ERP/loan management system to record interactions and progress.
• Handle objections professionally and steer conversations toward positive outcomes.
• Ensure clean data and accurate records for every customer interaction.
• Follow up on open applications and outstanding actions until closure.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in telesales, outbound calling, or customer‑facing collections.
• Proven ability to manage a high‑volume pipeline and consistently meet conversion targets.
• Strong verbal communication in English and Kiswahili.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field is preferred, but relevant experience is essential.
• Self‑driven, persistent, highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive in communication.
