Transport Assistant

About the role

The Transport Assistant will support efficient and compliant transport operations by coordinating drivers, monitoring fleet activities, and handling vehicle‑related issues. This role ensures that daily transport tasks run smoothly and that all documentation meets regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage drivers and daily transport activities.
• Monitor vehicle movement, availability, and utilization.
• Support fleet maintenance and servicing schedules.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical issues.
• Handle roadside breakdowns and emergencies, liaising with police and authorities as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date transport documentation and compliance records.
• Monitor driver compliance with transport policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate fleet and transport records.
• Report vehicle, driver, and transport‑related issues to management.

Required profile

• Male candidate.
• At least 3 years of experience in transport, fleet, or logistics operations.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating drivers.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify common vehicle issues.
• Good understanding of fleet management and transport compliance.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during roadside incidents and when dealing with authorities.
