Key responsibilities

• Operate light trucks safely within Nairobi.
• Carry out daily pre-trip and post-trip checks on oil levels, brakes, tires, coolant and lights.
• Supervise or assist with loading, unloading, proper weight distribution and secure tie-downs.
• Follow Kenyan traffic laws, road safety standards and NTSA speed limits.
• Maintain accurate mileage logbooks, fuel records and delivery receipts.
• Report mechanical faults, servicing needs or accidents immediately to management.

Required profile

• BCE driving licence.
• 2 to 5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the DCI.
• Minimum KCSE or equivalent education.
• Proven record of discipline, honesty and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Nairobi and major Kenyan routes.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting.
