Tutorial Fellow – Homescience & Physical Education

About the role

The Tutorial Fellow will join Zetech University’s Department of Homescience and Physical Education to deliver high‑quality teaching, mentor students, and contribute to the university’s research agenda. The role supports curriculum development and aligns with the institution’s broader academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach allocated courses, delivering lectures and practical sessions.
• Design, develop, and plan new programmes of study at various levels.
• Review and update course content regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum changes and research initiatives.
• Conduct research, write grant proposals, and present findings at conferences.
• Participate in consultancies and disseminate research outputs.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Registered for a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree with satisfactory progress.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification experience in university‑level teaching and research.
• Eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body, where applicable.
