UI Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a UI Engineer to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building and maintaining user‑interface components for a high‑traffic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using modern frameworks.
• Translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces in collaboration with designers.
• Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑device compatibility while maintaining design‑system consistency.
• Identify and resolve rendering and load‑time bottlenecks to optimise UI performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices and accessibility standards.
