Warehouse Management System Clerk – Menengai

About the role

The Warehouse Management System (WMS) Clerk supports the Site Lead and Inventory Controller in daily warehouse operations at the Menengai facility. The role ensures accurate receipt, storage, and documentation of goods while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily toolbox meetings to brief and debrief staff before operations.
• Receive goods, verify condition and quantity, and obtain signatures from drivers and security personnel.
• Enter received stock data into the JDA WMS in real time.
• Handle product picking, storage, and maintain stock integrity.
• Investigate and report any stock loss or variance to the Site Lead.
• Control warehouse access for non‑warehouse personnel.
• Ensure that physical storage matches WMS records and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, productivity logs, and filing records.
• Uphold safety standards at all workstations with zero lost‑time accidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Diploma in a supply‑chain‑related discipline is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competency with JDA Warehouse Management System (WMS).
