About the role
We are looking for a proactive, organized and eager‑to‑learn Stores & Procurement Intern to support our stores and procurement functions while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a renewable energy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, checking and recording incoming goods.
- Support proper storage, organization and identification of stock.
- Assist in issuing and recording materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stores and inventory records.
- Support stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation and filing of procurement documentation.
- Support supplier communication and follow‑up on orders and deliveries.
- Assist with obtaining quotations and preparing procurement comparisons.
- Support purchase order and delivery documentation processes.
- Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supplies, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement, inventory and stores management principles.
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow established procedures.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
