Website Developer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Website Developer Intern to join our team in Nairobi. You will gain hands‑on experience building and maintaining WordPress sites while supporting our marketing and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, including theme and plugin customization.
• Manage WordPress CMS content, menus, media, and perform regular updates and backups.
• Monitor site performance, implement basic SEO practices, and help optimise loading speed.
• Update website content for campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
• Troubleshoot website errors, support integration of third‑party tools, and provide basic technical assistance.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams and report progress to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Web Design, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Creative mindset for web design and user experience.
