Wines and Spirits Attendant

About the role

The Wines and Spirits Attendant will work at a busy liquor store in Westlands, Nairobi, providing friendly service to customers and supporting daily sales operations. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with clients, handling product inquiries, and ensuring the store environment is clean and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Sell wines, spirits and related products to customers.
• Welcome and assist clients, matching their needs with the appropriate products.
• Maintain day‑to‑day sales records and update inventory.
• Build and sustain good relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Perform routine cleaning of the premises and merchandise.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and clean demeanor.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, mature and eager to learn new sales techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Basic IT computer knowledge.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems (highly valued).

What we offer

• Starting salary of KES 18,000 per month (range KES 15,000‑30,000).
• Performance‑based bonuses when sales targets or specific conditions are met.
• Full‑time schedule: 10:00 am – 9:30 pm, every day with six days off per month.
