Workforce Planning and Org Design Consultant

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a senior consultant to lead strategic workforce planning and organizational design across its regional offices. You will work closely with Country Office management and senior stakeholders to translate data‑driven insights into practical workforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the regional technical focal point for Strategic Workforce Planning and Organizational Alignment Reviews.
• Conduct comprehensive workforce analyses using data, planning systems, and stakeholder input.
• Assess current organizational structures, identify skill gaps, and develop design options aligned with operational needs.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior management and support the development of short‑, medium‑, and long‑term workforce plans.
• Collaborate with HR, functional experts, and multicultural teams to ensure alignment with WFP methodologies.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, including at least 3 years in strategic workforce planning, organizational design, or HR consulting.
• At least 3 years of international experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using workforce planning, data analysis, reporting or visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity or analytics tools (asset).
