Accountant – Fixed-Term (6 months)

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking an Accountant to support day‑to‑day financial recordkeeping, reporting, and payroll administration. This six‑month fixed‑term position offers the chance to develop accounting expertise within a fast‑scaling, mission‑driven organization.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and vendor bills, ensuring accuracy and adherence to credit terms.
• Initiate vendor payments following internal approval workflows.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform account reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations and other balance‑sheet items.
• Prepare core team payroll records and cloud‑team payouts, flagging any discrepancies.
• Coordinate payroll and payout changes with the Talent team.
• Handle general administrative duties, including filing, document organization, and petty‑cash management.
• Support audit processes by providing documentation, preparing working papers, and assisting auditors.
• Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax filing requirements.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in financial recordkeeping, invoicing, and vendor payment processing.
• Familiarity with payroll administration and coordination with HR or talent teams.
• Ability to prepare and assist with financial statements and audit documentation.
• Understanding of tax compliance and filing procedures.
