Accountant

About the role

SureLift Solutions Limited is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Westlands, Kenya. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial reports.
• Conduct bank and cash reconciliations.
• Monitor expenses and support budget management.
• Assist with payroll and statutory deductions where required.
• Support tax preparation and compliance.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
• Identify and report financial discrepancies.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• CPA Level 3 or above (acceptable).
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advantage).
• Previous accounting experience (preferred).
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
