Accounts Assistant

About the role

DP World Market Access Healthcare is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Business Partner in managing supplier accounting. The role involves handling accounts payable, supplier reconciliations, claims, pricing maintenance, and gross‑margin analysis while working closely with Procurement, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process and match supplier invoices using 3‑way matching (PO, GRN, invoice).
• Prepare supplier payment runs and monitor ageing reports.
• Maintain accurate supplier master data and track rebates, discounts, and commercial recoveries.
• Perform monthly supplier account reconciliations and resolve unmatched or duplicate transactions.
• Log and monitor supplier claims, collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse for documentation, and ensure timely settlement.
• Maintain supplier, product, customer, country, and tender pricing in the ERP system, processing approved changes and investigating discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly gross‑margin analysis by product, customer, supplier, and country, investigating variances and highlighting risks.
• Support internal and external audits with reconciliation schedules and ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax, and company financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or supplier accounting.
• CPA(K) qualification or ACCA finalist status is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for pricing and transaction management.
