About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is expanding its enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate program delivery and operational efficiency. As an AI Platform Engineer, you will own the technical foundation that enables AI tools such as Anthropic and OpenAI to operate reliably at scale across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Maintain the IRC’s enterprise AI environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Manage platform configurations, API access controls, and integration pipelines between AI services and internal IRC systems.
Develop and sustain automated workflows, scripts, and monitoring solutions that support AI operations.
Collaborate with IT and program teams to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.

Required profile

Strong technical background in operating large‑scale AI or cloud platforms.
Experience with system integration, API management, and infrastructure automation.
Ability to work independently in a technical operations capacity without direct user‑facing responsibilities.
