AI Research Scientist – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an AI Research Scientist to join a leading technology client on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on advancing frontier AI models and the underlying infrastructure, pushing the limits of scalability, efficiency, and performance in machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research and development of next‑generation AI models with an emphasis on large‑scale training and inference.
• Design, build, and optimise distributed AI training pipelines and production‑grade inference systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and product teams to integrate research outcomes into real‑world applications.
• Benchmark emerging techniques against state‑of‑the‑art baselines and publish findings.
• Contribute to the broader AI community through papers, talks, and open‑source releases.

Required profile

• Strong academic or industry background in machine learning, deep learning, or related fields.
• Proven experience with large‑scale distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design novel algorithms for model training and inference.
