AI Transformation Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an AI Transformation Analyst to join our banking and finance team in Nairobi. The role focuses on embedding generative AI and data‑science solutions into core business workflows to drive efficiency, risk reduction and measurable ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Support workflow redesign projects by mapping current processes, embedding AI tools and documenting future‑state operating models.
• Build prompt libraries, reusable AI playbooks, generative AI dashboards and adoption reporting assets.
• Analyse data to measure AI adoption, utilization, productivity gains, operational efficiency, risk indicators and ROI.
• Document compliance overlays, control points, audit trails and user guidance for AI‑enabled processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Data teams on secure deployment, integration testing, access controls, data governance and continuous improvement.
• Prepare concise management insights that link AI initiatives to enterprise strategy, risk, training and benefits realization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in data analytics, AI adoption, workflow redesign or automation projects.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Scientist Associate, Google Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning‑Specialty, CDMP/DAMA.
• Strong understanding of financial logic, operational efficiency and responsible AI principles.

Required skills

• Python and R programming.
• Data visualisation tools: Tableau, Power BI.
• Cloud‑based AI/ML certifications: AWS Machine Learning, Google Data Engineer, Microsoft Data Scientist.
• Experience with generative AI prompt engineering and AI governance.
