Application Support Engineer - DevOps

About the role

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to support, deploy, and maintain Java‑based enterprise applications in a DevOps‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Java/J2EE applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and health to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and environment issues and drive timely resolution.
• Support CI/CD processes and release management using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
• Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams during deployments and production incidents.
• Analyze logs, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct application validation and post‑deployment health checks.
• Participate in application upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in application support, DevOps, or production support roles.
• Strong experience with Java/J2EE applications and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere).
• Proficiency with CI/CD and deployment tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and basic scripting.
• Experience in log analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
