Assistant Internal Auditor Intern

About the role

The Sot Technical Training Institute is offering a full‑time Assistant Internal Auditor internship located in Westlands, Kenya. The intern will work closely with the internal audit team, gaining practical experience in audit procedures within an educational environment. This role is designed for recent graduates who wish to develop their finance and accounting skills while supporting the institute’s compliance and risk management activities. The internship lasts for a minimum of one month, providing exposure to real‑world audit tasks and the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Finance/Accounting option) or Business Administration or related field
• CPA Part II or equivalent professional qualification (advantageous)
• Strong analytical skills, integrity and attention to detail
• Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Excel and accounting software
