Associate Account Manager – Nairobi

About the role

IFF is seeking an Associate Account Manager based in Nairobi to drive sustainable business growth across West Africa. You will work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to translate market opportunities into profitable solutions and position IFF as a trusted innovation partner.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, profitability and volume targets for assigned accounts and territories.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional business objectives.
• Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline using Salesforce (SFDC).
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing and margin optimisation initiatives.
• Partner with Technical, R&D, Product Development, Operations and Regulatory teams to deliver winning solutions.
• Support forecasting, demand planning and business review activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• 5‑8 years of B2B sales and account management experience in food ingredients, flavors, fragrances, nutrition or related industries.
• Proven success managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles across multiple West African markets.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
