Associate Director, Solution Architecture & Integration

About the role

The Associate Director, Solution Architecture & Integration will lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end technology solutions that support Global Clinical Operations and broader Development capabilities. This senior position provides technical leadership across solution lifecycles, from concept through implementation and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Create architecture blueprints, solution designs, integration strategies and technical specifications that are scalable and sustainable.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, quality expectations and technology roadmaps.
• Design and govern AI‑enabled solutions, defining patterns for large language models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, vector databases, AI agents and orchestration frameworks.
• Partner with AI platform, engineering and security teams to guarantee solutions are secure, explainable, compliant and operationally sustainable.
• Architect enterprise integrations across APIs, event‑driven platforms, cloud‑native services, data platforms and SaaS ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical assessments and technology evaluations for strategic initiatives.
• Support governance activities, architecture approvals, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams and external partners to influence technology direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive experience in solution, enterprise or application architecture and technology consulting.
• Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise‑scale solutions involving applications, integrations, cloud platforms and data ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of integration architecture, API management, cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices.
