Associate Manager Business Intelligence & Planning

About the role

Sun King is seeking an Associate Manager to lead Business Intelligence and Planning activities in Nairobi. You will turn data into actionable commercial insights, support market expansion, and ensure accurate demand forecasts across our energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing market intelligence on energy pricing, customer affordability, and competitor offerings; maintain dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify new market opportunities, develop entry plans, and create expansion roadmaps in partnership with country teams.
• Build and manage demand forecasts aligned with sales, marketing, historical trends, and new product launches; monitor inventory levels and forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate cross‑functional strategic initiatives, develop business cases and financial models, and track implementation progress.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in business intelligence, strategy, or demand planning.
• Proven ability to translate data into commercial actions.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and supply‑chain teams.
• Experience in energy, fintech or emerging markets is a plus.
