Banking Systems Administrator

About the role

The Banking Systems Administrator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the bank’s core systems. The role covers day‑to‑day processing, administrative and maintenance tasks across all banking applications, and provides technical assistance to project teams for analysis and design of new solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for the Core Banking System (CBS) and related applications through monitoring, capacity management and timely updates.
• Ensure high availability and uptime for CBS and other banking applications.
• Configure new products and system parameters within CBS and associated applications.
• Prepare System Requirements Specification (SRS) documents, create user process flows/manuals and scope solutions according to user requirements.
• Participate in projects involving system interfacing, integration and implementation of new products, fixes, upgrades and software changes.
• Act as the single point of contact for client solution requests, coordinating between business teams and vendors.
• Support project management and system implementation activities to integrate core banking systems with customer platforms.
• Analyze technology requirements with business teams and vendors to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.
• Perform impact reviews of system changes, ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory obligations and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of core banking operations and system maintenance.
