Brand Manager – Beauty

About the role

The Brand Manager – Beauty will support the Category & Brand Manager for Personal Care in developing and executing brand plans that align with regional and operating unit strategies. This role is based in Nairobi and works closely with cross‑functional teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement brand strategy in trade to grow performance and profitability.
• Manage advertising agencies for the execution of digital, BTL and other brand campaigns.
• Monitor and report brand performance using consumer KPIs such as market share, awareness and trial.
• Support the New Product Development process for Kenya and Uganda.
• Assist in the implementation of pricing policies for the brand portfolio.
• Develop and execute approved media and consumer plans within guidelines.
• Oversee product life‑cycle management, including demand forecasting and residual minimisation.
• Maintain brand operations documentation and ensure institutional memory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑4 years of experience in brand, shopper and trade activations.
• Strong data analytical skills.
• Proven ability to lead agencies and field sales teams.
• Energetic, results‑driven and capable of self‑leadership.
