About the role
The Build4Skills project, implemented by GIZ in Kenya, offers an internship to support the coordination and implementation of vocational training integration into infrastructure projects. The intern will work closely with the Build4Skills Advisor and a range of stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project outputs.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation and coordination of Build4Skills Kenya project activities.
- Assist in stakeholder engagement with government institutions, TVET providers, private sector partners and development partners.
- Contribute to project planning, monitoring, reporting and knowledge management.
- Organize and coordinate workshops, trainings, meetings, stakeholder consultations and field activities.
- Prepare and review project documentation, communication materials and technical outputs.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Build4Skills Advisor.
- Draft meeting agendas, take minutes and track follow‑up actions.
- Manage logistical arrangements for events and trainings.
- Collect, organize and maintain project data, records and filing systems.
- Conduct desk research on TVET, skills development and labour market trends.
- Draft correspondence, presentations, briefing notes and reports.
- Liaise with project partners, consultants and stakeholders.
- Participate in field visits and document lessons learned and good practices.
