Business Analyst – Data & Analytics Management

About the role

The Business Analyst D&A, Mgmt will support the regional and global Data & Analytics (D&A) functions, ensuring that programmes, governance and delivery models operate smoothly and deliver commercial value across East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with internal D&A functions to operationalise the revised DevSecOps structure and maintain business‑as‑usual processes.
• Collaborate with country teams, finance, product owners and services teams to align priorities, manage budgets and drive cost‑efficient project delivery.
• Lead governance of IT roadmap plans, budgets and the automation roadmap, ensuring compliance and access‑control protocols are followed.
• Mentor and manage cross‑functional delivery teams, track effort and cost, and ensure quality assurance of all outputs.
• Support the development of the corporate data model by gathering requirements from end‑markets and ensuring alignment with the global model.
• Identify data gaps, conduct gap analysis and drive transformation of the data environment and ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and change‑control experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with sponsors, project teams and regional finance.
• Experience in managing budgets, cost tracking and delivering tangible efficiencies.
• Proven capability to mentor teams and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
