Business Coach – CASHA Program (Turkana)

About the role

The CASHA Business Coach will support ultra‑poor women in Turkana by delivering business development services, mentorship, and market‑entry guidance for micro‑enterprises in the livestock and agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one coaching and mentorship to women entrepreneurs.
• Facilitate business planning, capacity building, and market‑entry strategies.
• Collect, enter, and analyse field data to generate actionable insights.
• Coordinate with local savings associations to improve cash‑flow management.
• Monitor progress of businesses and report outcomes to the REAP program team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Agriculture, Livestock or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience working with SMEs, especially in agri‑livestock value chains.
• Proven ability to deliver business development services and foster social inclusion in arid regions.
• Valid A1/A2 motorcycle license and ability to ride a motorcycle.
• Resident of the county where CASHA will be implemented.
