Business Development Assistant

About the role

The Business Development Assistant will support Threecs Business Solutions Limited in identifying and securing new business opportunities across the IT & Telecoms sector in Kenya. Working closely with the sales and finance teams, you will ensure smooth bid processes, client management and delivery coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, package and submit tenders, pre‑qualifications and RFQs, ensuring all mandatory documents are complete.
• Monitor daily newspapers, online procurement portals and client websites to scout for new leads.
• Act as primary liaison for existing clients, managing accounts and driving repeat business.
• Prepare quotations, pro‑forma invoices and follow up on local purchase orders.
• Collaborate with the accountant to generate invoices and chase outstanding payments.
• Coordinate logistics for delivery of goods/services and ensure delivery notes are signed.
• Maintain a sales pipeline report tracking active bids, won and lost opportunities.
• Update the CRM with client contacts, previous bid prices and contract expiry dates.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of experience in business development, sales support or related functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about the IT & Telecoms market.
