Business Development Executive – Microsoft Dynamics BC

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Executive to promote Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and related ICT solutions. The role is hybrid, based in Nairobi, and focuses on generating new revenue and expanding existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities for ICT, ERP and cloud solutions.
• Present and sell Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP and digital platforms to prospective clients.
• Understand client needs, recommend suitable technology solutions and coordinate demos with technical teams.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing and account management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams on proposals, RFPs, RFQs and tender submissions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and keep CRM records up to date.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, ICT or a related field.
• Minimum three years of B2B sales experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other Microsoft business applications.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong business development, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activities.
