Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth for Brites Management Services by identifying new opportunities, promoting residential and commercial properties, and building strong client relationships. You will work on both sales and leasing activities to increase occupancy and property sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to boost occupancy and sales.
• Market and promote properties to prospective tenants, buyers, and investors through networking, referrals and digital channels.
• Generate, qualify and nurture leads; conduct property viewings, presentations and site visits.
• Negotiate lease agreements, sales contracts and commercial terms to close transactions.
• Manage the full leasing cycle from inquiry to contract execution and hand‑over.
• Maintain relationships with tenants, owners, brokers and investors; provide excellent customer service.
• Develop strategic partnerships with agents, relocation firms, corporates and developers.
• Conduct market research, monitor pricing trends and recommend rental or sales pricing.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status and market intelligence.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and real‑estate regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in real‑estate sales, leasing or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding leasing and sales targets.
