About the role

Holy Cross Catholic International School is seeking a dedicated Business and Math A Level teacher to deliver the Cambridge International Curriculum to secondary students in Nairobi. The role involves planning engaging lessons, assessing progress, and fostering a Catholic values‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective, engaging Business and Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse abilities and learning needs of students.
• Maintain a structured, motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages academic excellence.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department, Principal and administration to support student progress and personal development.
• Assess student work using Cambridge assessment standards and provide constructive feedback.
• Uphold the values and ethos of the Catholic Church in all teaching activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Relevant experience teaching Business and/or Mathematics at A Level.
• Commitment to the Catholic educational mission.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and staff.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Cambridge International Curriculum for Business and Mathematics.
• Classroom management and lesson planning skills.
