Business Transformation Manager

About the role

M-KOPA Kenya is seeking a Business Transformation Manager to act as the strategic architect of product lifecycle, market intelligence and performance optimisation. You will bridge global product direction with the Kenyan market, shaping how the company competes, grows and wins in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 12‑month rolling product roadmaps aligned with growth objectives.
• Define product positioning and lead portfolio optimisation to increase market share and profitability.
• Manage end‑to‑end product development, from concept through launch, coordinating testing, pilots and market validation.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Retail, Marketing, Sales, and Smartphone teams to ensure seamless implementation.
• Design go‑to‑market strategies, launch plans and engage OEM partners for optimal product terms.
• Monitor post‑launch performance metrics such as adoption, revenue, margin and customer satisfaction, and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading transformational initiatives that optimise product performance and competitive positioning.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market research, competitive intelligence and customer insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, working with Global Product, Marketing, Operations, Commercial, Sales, Retail and Customer Care teams.
• Strategic thinking combined with commercial execution capability.
