CCTV Controller – Security Monitoring

About the role

The CCTV Controller will be responsible for monitoring and safeguarding the premises by operating surveillance equipment, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. This full‑time position supports a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and continuously monitor CCTV systems across designated areas to detect suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and unusual activities observed on live or recorded footage.
• Record and document security incidents accurately, preparing detailed incident reports for management.
• Coordinate with security personnel, management, and authorities during incidents, providing timely information and support.
• Conduct regular checks of cameras, monitors, and recording equipment, reporting technical faults and assisting with system upgrades.
• Ensure all monitoring activities comply with privacy regulations and company security procedures, maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with security teams and support the training of new CCTV staff.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance, or related security roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert for extended periods.
• Good written communication skills for incident reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a security team.
