CEO / Principal Officer

About the role

We are a leading insurance brokerage seeking a dynamic CEO/Principal Officer to launch and grow a high‑growth medical insurance brokerage startup. The role will leverage the reputation and resources of our 20‑year‑old sister firm while building an agile, modern brokerage from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Define a unique value proposition and long‑term strategic roadmap for the startup.
• Design and implement operational frameworks, workflows, and technology stacks.
• Lead aggressive customer acquisition and market penetration strategies.
• Capitalize on the sister firm’s reputation to accelerate market trust.
• Collaborate with sister‑firm leadership to unlock cross‑selling opportunities.
• Provide regular strategic updates to the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.
• Foster an innovative, fast‑paced startup culture focused on client advocacy.
• Implement performance‑driven compensation and incentive models.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in insurance brokerage or healthcare leadership.
• Proven track record launching a business unit, startup, or new division.
• Experience working within multi‑entity or group‑company structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare; MBA is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to build systems independently.
• Executive‑level relationships with major health insurance carriers.
• Expertise shifting between high‑level strategy and hands‑on execution.
• Familiarity with modern CRM tools.
