Channel Sales Manager

About the role

Long Chain Construction Chemicals Ltd. is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to expand its distributor and dealer network across Kenya. The role is field‑oriented, focusing on acquiring new partners, driving product penetration and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, recruit and develop distributors, dealers, hardware shops and paint retailers across Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret and other key markets.
• Develop and implement sales‑growth plans, support partners with product selection, pricing and inventory management, and monitor performance against targets.
• Conduct regular market visits, organise product demonstrations, gather competitor intelligence and generate new leads.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while ensuring timely order fulfilment and collections.
• Support regional sales team development, train representatives and analyse territory performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of channel or field‑sales experience, preferably in paints, construction chemicals or building‑materials.
• Proven track record of developing distributors and dealers and strong understanding of the Kenyan construction market.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management skills, fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales reporting.
