Channel Sales Representative – Countertop & Interior Materials

About the role

The Channel Sales Representative will develop and manage external business channels for Newmatic Countertops Limited, a leading sintered stone and interior materials manufacturer in Kenya. The role combines office‑based sales activities with frequent field visits to designers, contractors, cabinet makers and other partners to generate qualified leads and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and build relationships with interior designers, architects, contractors, cabinet makers, furniture shops, developers and kitchen companies.
• Present Newmatic’s countertop products and services during on‑site visits and showroom tours.
• Collect project details, enter leads into the company system and follow up via phone, WhatsApp and site visits.
• Coordinate measurement requests, quotations and schedule showroom appointments.
• Report daily activities, new leads and follow‑up status to the sales and administration teams.
• Collaborate closely with sales, measurement, installation and marketing teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, construction materials, interior design, real estate or related fields.
• Existing network with designers, contractors, cabinet makers or developers is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills and proficiency with WhatsApp for client follow‑up.
• Highly punctual, honest, proactive and results‑driven.
• Willingness to work outside the office and travel to client sites.
