Chief Information Officer

About the role

Royal Mabati Factory Limited is seeking a visionary Chief Information Officer to lead its digital transformation across manufacturing, supply chain and customer engagement. The CIO will shape a 3‑5 year technology roadmap that drives efficiency, resilience and measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Translate corporate strategy into a multi‑year digital roadmap with clear ROI.
• Lead implementation and integration of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, MES, eCommerce, fleet management) and establish API‑driven connectivity.
• Institutionalize a secure digital workspace with access governance, endpoint protection and data lifecycle policies.
• Run a risk‑based cybersecurity program, enforce Zero Trust, continuous monitoring and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Establish enterprise data governance, master data management and deploy advanced analytics/AI for forecasting and supply‑chain optimization.
• Operate a world‑class IT service management function, optimize vendor ecosystem and manage contracts strategically.
• Build a digitally fluent IT team, drive change management and ensure strong business alignment.

Required profile

• 5+ years in senior IT leadership with enterprise‑wide scope, including C‑level experience.
• Proven record delivering multi‑system transformations (ERP, CRM, MES, eCommerce, fleet).
• Strong financial acumen with ability to quantify TCO, ROI and value realization.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and board‑level communication skills.
