Clinical Software & Integration Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Software & Integration Support Specialist to serve as the first‑line point of contact for our Practice Information Management Systems (PIMS) and related clinical applications. The role involves assisting staff across our network with issues, maintaining system configurations, and ensuring smooth daily operation of critical clinical software.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for clinical software and PIMS applications, handling incidents and service requests through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot user issues related to patient records, billing, appointments, reporting, templates, and access rights.
• Escalate complex problems and vendor defects as needed.
• Maintain system configurations, templates, forms, user groups, and operational settings.
• Support onboarding of new users, clinics, and workflows.
• Assist with system standardisation initiatives and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles, procedures, and user documentation.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.
• Ensure requests follow governance and change‑management processes and participate in CAB discussions.

Required profile

• Experience supporting end‑users of business‑critical software platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Familiarity with service‑desk or ticketing systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Experience in veterinary, healthcare or clinical environments is highly regarded.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team focused on quality patient care.
