Cluster Manager – Lead Sales Executives

About the role

The Cluster Manager (Area Manager) will oversee a group of Sales Executives across a designated cluster, driving loan acquisition, repayment performance, and team productivity. Reporting to the General Monitoring Officer, you will ensure compliance with Oya Microcredit's policies while fostering a high‑performing sales culture.

Key responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and motivate Sales Executives to meet daily targets.
• Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Review client loan applications and share dossiers with relevant departments.
• Assess high‑value loan applications (above 3M).
• Lead marketing and client acquisition activities within the cluster.
• Monitor loan repayments and enforce agreed timelines.
• Track and report on team performance, collections, and assessments.
• Oversee loan disbursement on scheduled days.
• Report issues or challenges to management promptly.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience in team leadership or field operations, preferably in financial services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to manage, motivate, and monitor team performance.
• Analytical and decision‑making skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
