Commercial Manager – Nairobi

About the role

Victory Farms is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead its sales function in Nairobi. You will own month‑over‑month targets, replicate proven processes in new settings and build a high‑performing team that drives growth across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly sales targets by establishing clear ownership throughout the sales department.
• Replicate existing commercial processes in new environments and set up teams for operational accuracy.
• Train and develop the commercial organization to support future growth.
• Implement tracking and ownership mechanisms that minimise spoilage and variances.
• Manage a sales incentive system and ensure team understanding.
• Use data to forecast market behaviour, identify opportunities and monitor competitor movements.
• Organise regional marketing campaigns to raise product awareness and brand reputation.
• Communicate project status and performance risks to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts and leases with vendors, suppliers and third parties.

Required profile

• 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture or related sectors.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets and achieve revenue growth.
• Strong leadership, integrity and a learning mindset.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and operating within them.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
