Commercial Operations Manager – Drive Execution & Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to turn priorities into execution across Turaco’s Commercial Operations organisation. You will work across different parts of the business, tackling billing issues, improving customer operations, coordinating product launches, and driving cross‑functional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Translate commercial operations priorities into clear actions, owners, and timelines, and ensure follow‑through.
• Coordinate execution across Customer Operations, Claims, Policy Administration, billing, insurance operations, and partner operations.
• Support major projects, new products, partner launches, system changes, and operational initiatives from planning through execution.
• Identify and resolve operational problems, bring together cross‑functional teams, and escalate risks with clear recommendations.
• Use operational data and scorecards to monitor performance, spot emerging issues, and develop recovery plans.
• Improve processes, SOPs, trackers, and controls, and drive adoption of AI‑enabled tools to increase productivity.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, fintech, financial services, technology, insurance, or fast‑moving startups.
• Proven ability to take ambiguous projects from definition to execution with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working with senior leaders and frontline teams, influencing without formal authority.
• Bias toward action, good judgement on escalation, and ability to work without perfect information.
