Commercial Project Manager

About the role

BURN is looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join its newly created Project Management Office (PMO). The role will drive project planning, execution, and closure across multiple cross‑functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and baselines, integrating multiple timelines into a master schedule.
• Create and maintain summary‑level schedule reports, Gantt charts, and milestone visualisations for critical‑path analysis.
• Prepare project budgets, obtain senior‑management approvals, and monitor cost performance throughout execution.
• Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, delivering monthly progress reports and weekly status updates.
• Identify, engage, and manage key stakeholders, ensuring clear reporting of risks and issues.
• Coordinate resource allocation with other managers, resolve conflicts, and track project outcomes.
• Manage procurement activities by tracking and initiating Purchase Requests in collaboration with the procurement team.
• Provide Smartsheet support, including plan creation, workflow design, and training for other functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, business management, operations or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within construction or large‑scale operational environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Smartsheet for project planning, scheduling, and reporting.
