About the role
Optimum Partnerships Africa is seeking an experienced Communications Controller Officer to strengthen its Security Operations Centre (SOC) and control‑room capabilities. The successful candidate will monitor security technology, manage incident reporting, and ensure smooth operation of critical surveillance systems.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and supervise CCTV, access‑control, and alarm‑monitoring systems.
- Monitor real‑time security feeds and respond to alerts in the SOC.
- Generate accurate reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Security Management, Criminology, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a security control room or SOC environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
