About the role
The Consultant – Forest Law Enforcement will support the Centre’s efforts to strengthen forest governance and compliance. Based in Nairobi, the role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert advice on legal and policy aspects of forest protection.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultancy support for forest law enforcement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement enforcement strategies.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on compliance with forest regulations.
Required profile
- Holds a degree in a relevant background.
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional international language(s) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams, preferably in a non‑profit organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Values information sharing and continuous improvement in a cooperative environment.
