Conveyancing Advocate (Nairobi)

About the role

Miller Advocates is seeking a qualified Conveyancing Advocate to join its Nairobi office. The successful candidate will provide legal services related to property transactions, ensuring that all conveyancing matters are handled efficiently and in compliance with Kenyan law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee conveyancing transactions for individual and corporate clients.
• Draft, review and finalise legal documents such as sale agreements, title deeds and related contracts.
• Provide legal advice on property law issues and guide clients through the transfer process.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, registries and third‑party professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum five years post‑admission experience in a busy law firm.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organisational skills and capacity to work under pressure.
• Proactive, self‑driven and results‑focused.
